Berlin Germany

Guten Tag!
Brandenburg Gate
The day I was in Berlin it was the anniversary of the wall coming down.
Parts of the wall are still up, where they took the wall down they placed brick in the ground to remember the exact location of the wall.
This is the Holocaust Memorial, which looked like nameless tomb stones of all different sizes.
This is where Check Point Charlie is located.

Here is a museum on the differences of the East and West side.

This is where the historical book burning took place in 1933. The German students burned books that they felt where Un-German.
Recognize this Hotel? Maybe you would if Micheal Jackson was dangling his baby outside the window.
This is my friend Thea. She grew up in Berlin on the East side. Thea was a foreign exchange student at my high school and my tennis partner. It's fun to catch up with Thea when I visit Berlin! Auf Wiedersehen!

Barcelona!

Barcelona

Barcelona is a huge city with a lot to do and see.

The city has a famous architect named Antonio Gaudi who makes the buildings, churches and parks very interesting to look at. Here are some of his designs.
This church called the SAGRADA FAMÍLIA or the Sacred Family Church was also designed by Gaudi. They started building it in 1882 and it won't be finished for another 30 years. It is incredible!

Barcelona has many great marina's and beaches on the Mediterranean Sea.
I can't wait to go back to Barcelona to tour the many wonderful museums and eat the tasty tapas!

Amsterdam!

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is know for its tulips. The most beautiful tulips in the world. They sell tulip bulbs throughout the city.

I toured Anne Frank's House. I read the Diary of Anne Frank right before the trip, I couldn't believe how the House was exactly the same as described in the book.

Walking the streets in Amsterdam (with my Captain).

The City of Love

PARIS

I have been to Paris many times, and I never run out of things to see there.
It is my favorite European City.

Here is a picture of Nortre Dame where I attended a church service.
I toured the Louvre where I saw many famous paintings like the Mona Lisa.
We ate French dishes like Es-cargo and local cheeses.
My flight attendant friend and I climbed the Eiffel Tour. This is a sunset view from the top!
This is where Princess Diana had her fatal car crash. People still leave flowers and messages to the Peoples Princess.
I toured the Sacred Heart Church and neighborhood.
Here is a local vineyard I found in the city of Paris.
I still have a lot to do and see in Paris. I love the city and can't wait to go back!
