Jenna's Surprise

A good friend of mine just took a 3 year contract flying job in Asia! We had to send her off right. A surprise going away party in her town of Chicago!Jenna and I worked at two airlines together, where training partners and crash pad room mates.

Training

Every year I have to go through a two day training event where we practice emergency procedures in a flight simulator. There is a lot of studying to be done before I go and while I'm there in Houston. The company puts me up in a hotel located on the airport property. So I am reading, seeing and hearing airplanes 24/7. Nice. This is a view from my hotel room!

Edinburgh is another great town we fly in to. I can understand why it is considered the best place to live in the UK.

The Hotel in Hamburg that we stay in is very modern. It is located on the water. Here is the view from my room:
