I had a trip to Bristol England right after Christmas. The crew and I took the train to Bath, and from there a tour bus to Stonehenge.

Atlantis Resort

John and I took Lily to the Atlantis Resort in Paradise Island, Bahamas.

On final approach to land in the Bahamas.

The Atlantis Resort! Hotels in order are the Reef, the Cove and the Royal Towers. We stayed at the Royal Towers.

We saw a lot of fish, dolphins, sea turtles and sting rays.

We went on over 10 thrilling water slides, and a relaxing mile long lazy river.

We swam in 7 different pools, and

3 beaches,

And ate delicious food.

An amazing vacation. I can't wait to go back!

Barcelona's Park Guell

I went to Guell Park for the first time.

The park was designed by my favorite architect Antoni Gaudi in the early 1900's. Not only did he build the park, but he lived there too.

There is so much to see at this park. I have to go back to Park Guell on my next trip to Barcelona.

Barcelona's Church

Barcelona is one of my favorite European Cities. There is so much to do and see there. On my last trip I went and toured the Sagrada Familia (Sacred Family) Church by Antoni Gaudi.

I had been to the church before, but this time I toured the inside of it.

They started building this Catholic church in 1882 and it is estimated to be completed in 2026.

We took an elevator up to the top of the sphere.

And I relized that I am afraid of heights! When did that happen?

Absolutly amazing! Hope to see the church when it is finished.

Duetschfest 2009!

John and I had a Oktoberfest themed Halloween Party.

The band was awesome! Almost everyone was on the dance floor.

Scotland with Mom!

I took my mom on a work trip to Edinburgh Scotland. We saw as much as possible in 48 hours!

We ate lunch at the Elephant House. That is where the first Harry Potter book was written. It over looks Edinburgh castle.

We did a underground city tour, where we learned about how people lived in the early 1800's.

And we toured Edinburgh Castle. We walked many miles and shopped a lot. It is always fun when I can bring my mom to work with me.

Assateague Island

For the last camping trip of the summer we went to Ocean City MD. We spend most of our time at Assateague Island where the horses run wild and the beaches are beautifully natural.

We where able to drive are trucks onto the beach and set up our own beach site. We grilled food, swam and enjoyed the sun!

This is my kind of camping trip!

Hiking in Scotland!

I've been spending a lot of time in Edinburgh Scotland lately. The weather was unusually nice. I decided to take advantage of the weather by going hiking.

I had a 24 hour layover in Cleveland and the crew and I decided to go to the Cleveland Airshow. Continental Airlines was a host at the Cleveland Air Show this year. Here is a 737 that people could tour.

At the air show the Continental ALPA MEC had a tent for the Pilots and their families. It was catered with great food, and we had prime seats! It gave us a chance to meet with our union leaders to talk about contract negotiations.
