Scotland with Mom!

I took my mom on a work trip to Edinburgh Scotland. We saw as much as possible in 48 hours!We ate lunch at the Elephant House. That is where the first Harry Potter book was written. It over looks Edinburgh castle.We did a underground city tour, where we learned about how people lived in the early 1800's.
And we toured Edinburgh Castle. We walked many miles and shopped a lot. It is always fun when I can bring my mom to work with me.

Assateague Island

For the last camping trip of the summer we went to Ocean City MD. We spend most of our time at Assateague Island where the horses run wild and the beaches are beautifully natural.We where able to drive are trucks onto the beach and set up our own beach site. We grilled food, swam and enjoyed the sun!
This is my kind of camping trip!

Hiking in Scotland!

I've been spending a lot of time in Edinburgh Scotland lately. The weather was unusually nice. I decided to take advantage of the weather by going hiking.

Cleveland Air Show

I had a 24 hour layover in Cleveland and the crew and I decided to go to the Cleveland Airshow. Continental Airlines was a host at the Cleveland Air Show this year. Here is a 737 that people could tour.At the air show the Continental ALPA MEC had a tent for the Pilots and their families. It was catered with great food, and we had prime seats! It gave us a chance to meet with our union leaders to talk about contract negotiations.
